The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cruz has taken the fight to the clinch.
McGuire tries to break the clinch but Cruz is controlling the position.
Cruz swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Nice elbow from Cruz.
Cruz tries to pull guard but McGuire won't allow it.
Cruz breaks from the clinch.
Cruz throws a nice looking combination but McGuire bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Cruz doesn't manage to clinch there - McGuire circles away.
Cruz is looking to clinch.
Cruz fails with an attempt to clinch.
McGuire scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Cruz doesn't seem bothered though.
McGuire slips a jab from Cruz.
Cruz moves in looking to clinch but McGuire pushes him off.
McGuire bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Cruz's head.
It looks like Juan Cruz has been cut.
McGuire circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Cruz to the canvas! Cruz doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - McGuire keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
