Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ross Peerson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Musta Barbari (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Peerson might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Good Feeling. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Ross Peerson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Musta Barbari!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Nard Betker and Saam Ante.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Peerson avoids the head kick by Barbari.
Barbari looks to clinch
and Peerson counters with a one-two to the body.
Barbari lands a body shot.
Peerson swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Peerson looks to land a combination but Barbari avoids it well.
Peerson tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Peerson lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Barbari backs up against the cage.

Barbari moves into the clinch.

Barbari wants to control from the top but Peerson keeps moving.

Peerson manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.

Barbari shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Peerson as he jumps to the side.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Barbari shoots in looking for a takedown. Peerson tries to sprawl out of it but Barbari keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Peerson manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

and Peerson counters with a left and a right that stings Barbari.

Peerson seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Barbari for as long as he can get away with.

Barbari is rocked!
Barbari gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Peerson gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Barbari is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:37 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ross Peerson!
