Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Julle Bulle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alex Rodriguez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rodriguez is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Snoop Dogg (ft Dr.Dre) The Chronic. Alex Rodriguez has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Robert Twigg and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bulle is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Bulle ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Rodriguez fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Bulle to the ground. Rodriguez is now in Bulle's guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Rodriguez pushing down on Bulle's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Bulle is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Rodriguez's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Rodriguez's back!
Bulle is trying to stick to Rodriguez's back but Rodriguez is turning into Bulle. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Bulle's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Rodriguez.

Rodriguez shoots in looking for a takedown. Bulle tries to sprawl out of it but Rodriguez keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Bulle manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Rodriguez throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Bulle's waist but Bulle gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Rodriguez off to one side.
Julle Bulle has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alex Rodriguez.

Bulle leaves Rodriguez with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Bulle jabs Rodriguez to the body, keeping him at a distance.

Bulle throws the kick towards the body but Rodriguez avoids it.
The fight stays on the outside here - Bulle looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Rodriguez shoots in but Bulle avoids the takedown attempt easily.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Bulle tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Rodriguez manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Julle Bulle will probably get the nod.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Bulle stuffs the takedown.

Bulle steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Rodriguez.

The referee asks Rodriguez politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Rodriguez prefers to stall for the moment though.

It looks like Julle Bulle has been cut.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
