Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jeremy Crusher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luiz Lindland (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Crusher comes to the cage accompanied by "Around The Fur" by Deftones. Lindland has chosen Sandstorm as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lindland closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Lindland lands in his opponent's guard. Crusher working a defensive guard here.
Lindland scores with a decent looking elbow strike. We've been hearing good reports from Crusher's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today. Crusher is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Lindland trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Lindland must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Lindland lands a couple of digs. Lindland working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Crusher is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Lindland frees his head nicely. Oh but Crusher has switched to an armbar! Lindland is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
