Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Michael Martin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tuneock Mast (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Michael Martin! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Tuneock Mast! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Jack Bonds and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Martin does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Mast looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Michael Martin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Martin tries to score a power double leg takedown but Mast sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Martin somewhat. Mast is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Martin misses with an attempted mid kick.
Martin ducks under a wild hook from Mast. Mast walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Mast misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Martin connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Mast momentarily.
Mast shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Martin defends it nicely. Mast stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Mast wants it to stay on the feet. Martin misses with a kick to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mast slips a jab and a cross from Martin.
Martin fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Martin throws a push kick but Mast slaps the foot to one side. Mast looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Martin avoids the body shot from Mast.
Martin shoots in for a takedown but Mast shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Michael Martin. That's going to take a lot out of him. Mast closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Martin shoots in and drives through. Mast sprawls well. Mast slaps away a takedown attempt from Martin, before circling back to the center of the mat. A combination from Martin does no damage. Mast tries to clinch there but Martin circles away.
Martin shoots in looking for a takedown but Mast manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Martin's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A looping hook to the body misses from Martin. Mast does a little dance to reset his feet. Mast gets a clinch. Martin trying to land knees to the body.
Mast has Martin pressed against the cage, preventing Martin from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Martin wants a takedown.
Martin can't break the clinch.
Martin tries to pull guard but Mast forces him back to his feet, against the cage. Martin is breathing heavily. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Mast breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Martin will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Nice takedown defense from Mast. No joy for Martin on that attempt. Martin displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Mast. Mast uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Martin.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mast moves into the clinch. Martin misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Martin working hard to break the clinch. Martin is trying to break free. Martin will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Mast up against the cage. Mast jumps guard but Martin turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Martin throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Martin tries a body shot but Mast blocks it.
Martin pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Martin scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Martin closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Mast quickly recovers to half guard. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Mast tries to kick Martin off but Martin keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Martin is looking to take a break and control but Mast is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Mast wants to improve his position but Martin is controlling well.
Martin is thwarting Mast's attempts to control the position. Mast is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Martin is staying active. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. The fighters are battling for position here. Mast manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Martin throws a big right hand that misses. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Mast takes one to the chin there. Mast moves out of range as Martin strikes. Martin tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Mast is able to avoid easily. Mast fails with a takedown attempt. Mast displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Martin. Mast closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Martin can't break the clinch.
Martin looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Martin tries to break free but Mast pushes him back against the cage. Martin tries to circle away but Mast has him pinned against the cage. Martin wants to stall.
That's one minute gone in the round. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Martin is stalling here.

Martin is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Mast on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Mast is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Mast fails to pull guard.
Mast pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Martin fails with a takedown attempt. Martin throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Mast shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Martin pinned against the cage. Martin gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Mast tries for a takedown but Martin sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Martin's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Martin duly obliges. Good work by Mast as he checks the leg kick. Mast throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Martin jabs Mast right on the nose. Mast blinks but takes it well. Martin tries to score a power double leg takedown but Mast sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Martin somewhat. Mast misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Martin misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Mast.
Martin works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Tuneock Mast is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Mast lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

Both fighters are breathing heavily. Martin is looking to take a break and control but Mast is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Martin lands a nice short elbow. Mast is trying to get back to full guard. Mast wants to control but Martin is keeping busy and won't allow it. Mast might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Martin haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Tuneock Mast hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Martin lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Mast has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Mast and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Martin scores with a takedown into Mast's guard. Martin working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Martin postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Mast trying to control the position.
Martin advances to half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Mast avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Martin.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Well, if Martin is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Martin throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Michael Martin is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Mast is trying to control but can't.
We've been hearing that Martin has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish. Mast makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Mast. Martin sitting in guard, not really doing much.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Martin wants to control from the top but Mast keeps moving.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Michael Martin just wasn't active enough. Mast jabbing away but nothing is landing. Martin dives in and scores a takedown into Mast's guard. Mast had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Martin defends it easily. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Martin seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
And that's the end of the fight! Michael Martin showed his dominance in that final round. Well Martin has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
