Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ian Pathos!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Marcus Megnus Maximus!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, William Peck and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maximus swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Maximus scores with a nice strike.
It looks like Ian Pathos has been cut.
Maximus throws a body shot but no joy.
Maximus rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Pathos moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Maximus missing with a left hand there. Pathos was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Pathos defending well as Maximus loads up on a big left hand.
Maximus slips a straight right by Pathos.
Maximus scores with a jab to the head.
The crowd cheers as Maximus lands an impressive looking overhand right. Pathos doesn't seem phased though.
Ian Pathos's cut is getting worse.
No joy there for Maximus, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
The fighters circling - Maximus throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Pathos dives in and grabs Maximus's left leg, looking for a takedown. Maximus pushes down on Pathos's head and hops out.
Pathos throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Maximus has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
It looks like Marcus Megnus Maximus has been cut.
Pathos has been working on his boxing with his coaches at ELITE GYM 40CAP in the buildup to the fight.
Maximus lands with a nice body punch.
Maximus fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Pathos looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Pathos fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Maximus swings for the body but Pathos moves out of range.
Pathos scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Oooooh!!! Maximus has knocked Pathos down with a huge combo! Maximus steps away and waves a wobbly Pathos back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Pathos is rocked!
Pathos is breathing heavily.
Pathos with a jab.
Maximus looks to score with a jab to the body but Pathos is just out of range.
Maximus uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Pathos.
Pathos drops Maximus with a right and a left! Pathos comes rushing in but Maximus regains his composure and manages to keep Pathos in guard.
Maximus is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Maximus is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Pathos throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Maximus works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Maximus wants to sweep here but Pathos controlling him for the moment.
Maximus keeping moving, preventing Pathos from controlling successfully.
Maximus pulls Pathos in to control the position.
Pathos won't allow Maximus to sweep him here.
Pathos lands a couple of elbows.

Maximus tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Pathos looking to sit in guard and control but Maximus gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Maximus told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet.
Maximus is looking to stand up but Pathos won't let him.
Maximus postures up in Pathos's guard and throws a big left but Pathos blocks it.
Maximus postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Pathos has a closed guard, preventing Maximus from standing up.
Maximus passes Pathos's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Maximus wants to free his trapped foot but Pathos is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Maximus wants to control but Pathos is keeping him busy.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Maximus is looking to advance position but Pathos won't allow it.
Pathos is staying active underneath Maximus, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Pathos is trying to stand up here but Maximus is controlling him well.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
A jab from Pathos misses.
Pathos moves into range and throws a big uppercut. OH! Maximus goes down! Can Pathos finish him!?
Pathos stopping the sweep attempt from Maximus.
Maximus looking to control but Pathos passes into half guard.
Pathos is controlling the pace.
Maximus tries to roll over but Pathos keeps him under control.

Pathos stops Maximus from getting back to his feet.
Maximus wants to get back to full guard.
Pathos sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Maximus defending well though.
Maximus on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Maximus tries to roll over but Pathos keeps him under control.
Pathos is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Pathos prevents Maximus from improving his position.
Pathos is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, Maximus is hurt! He's hurt bad - Pathos fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save Maximus from any more punishment! Congratulations to Pathos! Great finish!
