And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Jonathan Paton and Columbo Gatti.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick by Walden misses
and OReiley counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Walden is defending against the submission attempts here by OReiley.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
OReiley has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
OReiley trying to control but he's not successful this time.
OReiley wants to finish this one by submission but Walden is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from OReiley.
Walden really doesn't want to stay on the ground with OReiley. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
OReiley working for a guillotine from mount but Walden is in no mood to give up.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Walden tries to lock up and control but OReiley gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
OReiley wants to control the pace but Walden is squirming around nicely.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Walden should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
OReiley is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Walden to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Walden shrugs it off.
OReiley takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

OReiley is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Walden can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

OReiley quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for OReiley but it's paid off an Walden is forced to tap! Nice work by OReiley.
