3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Gary Dance! The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Donald Grub and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hunter shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Hunter showed some decent athleticism there. Hunter performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Dance is in trouble now - Hunter has advanced to mount! Hunter controlling the position easily from mount.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dance is in all sorts of trouble here.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Travis Hunter wasn't doing enough on the ground. Hunter manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Dance on his heels. He'll look to pass Dance's guard now, I'm sure. Hunter not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Dance has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Hunter can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dance being controlled here, momentarily. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Travis Hunter dominated that round. That's time! Hunter's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Hunter shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Hunter content to stall in guard here. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Travis Hunter just wasn't active enough. Hunter lands a jab.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hunter gets caught napping as Dance dives in and scores a takedown. Hunter manages to retain guard. Hunter keeping moving, preventing Dance from controlling successfully. We've been informed that Dance has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight. Dance engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Hunter seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dance looking to sit in guard and control but Hunter gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Dance is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
We're going to have a standup here because Travis Hunter wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Dance fails with a takedown attempt. A jab from Hunter does it's job there.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hunter dives in and scores a takedown into Dance's guard. Hunter content to stall in guard here. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Hunter pushing down on Dance's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Hunter looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Dance is trying to get back to full guard.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Travis Hunter wasn't doing enough on the ground. Hunter shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Dance napping and manages to drive through into side control! Hunter gets to mount! Dance was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly. Hunter controlling from the full mount. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Dance tries to reverse the position but Hunter maintains control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Hunter shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Dance is trying to defend but Hunter finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Dance looking for submissions off his back. Hunter with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dance makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Dance. Hunter controls the pace of the fight for a moment. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Travis Hunter. Hunter drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Hunter content to stall in guard here. Hunter passes Dance's left leg - he's now in half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hunter keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
Travis Hunter has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Hunter catches Dance with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dance tries for a takedown but Hunter circles away easily and Hunter counters with a straight right hand. Hunter manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Dance on his heels. He'll look to pass Dance's guard now, I'm sure. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Hunter not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Hunter avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Hunter slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dance trying to control but Hunter flips him over like a cheap hooker and has his back! Hunter controls the action. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Hunter seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Dance for as long as he can get away with.
And that's the end of the fight! Travis Hunter showed his dominance in that final round. Well Hunter has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
