Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Cliff Anderson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Victor Resnov!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Yves DeLean and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Anderson is defended easily by Resnov.

Resnov shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Anderson but Anderson pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Anderson pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Anderson looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Resnov is fending him off so far but Anderson persists. Nope, Resnov circles away and we're back to standing.
Anderson has been working on his balance at Werewolf's cave, so perhaps that has help him stuff some of the takedown attempts by Resnov.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Cliff Anderson. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Resnov tries to score a power double leg takedown but Anderson sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Resnov somewhat.
Resnov avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Anderson fails to land the takedown.
Anderson throws a series of strikes that have Resnov backpedaling.
It looks like Victor Resnov has been cut.
Cliff Anderson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Resnov throws a sloppy head kick and Anderson moves out of range easily.
Anderson has his takedown stuffed
and Resnov counters with a one-two to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Anderson takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Resnov displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Anderson.
Anderson is breathing heavily.
Resnov defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Anderson.
Resnov gets in close and tags Anderson with a short punch that almost sends Anderson to the mat! Oh Anderson is in big trouble! He turns his back on Resnov, trying to create some distance but Resnov rushes him, striking wildly and Anderson goes down! The referee tackles Resnov into the cage to end the fight! Resnov is one violent man!

In defeat, Cliff Anderson stepped up to the mic, saying 'well guys you can't win them all, but I will tell you that I will be back, stronger and more determined than ever.'.
