Coming up we have a light heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Marcus Brandao (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Piero Vischi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brandao's entrance music is The White Stripes - Seven Nation Army. A fine choice. Marcus Brandao could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Piero Vischi's chin.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Patrick Alders and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Brandao swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Vischi's coach down at M Jay's Training Center was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Vischi's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Brandao lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Vischi at a distance.
Vischi throws a looping overhand right but Brandao ducks down to avoid it.

Vischi tries to close the distance and clinch up but Brandao swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Vischi gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Brandao.

Vischi throws a right hand that Brandao ducks under and follows up with a left that Brandao also avoids with ease.

Vischi moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Brandao throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.

Brandao uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Vischi.

The fighters circling - Brandao throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Vischi ducks down and throws a hook to the body.

Brandao jabs Vischi right on the nose. Vischi blinks but takes it well.
Vischi rushes Brandao and pushes him back against the ropes in a clinch.
Brandao tries to break free but Vischi pushes him back against the ropes.
Brandao avoiding damage as Vischi throws knees to the body.
Brandao escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Brandao swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Vischi throws a head kick that misses.
Brandao slips a jab from Vischi.
Brandao has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
It looks like Marcus Brandao has been cut.
Brandao throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Vischi looking to land some kicks to the body here.
A lazy left from Brandao finds it's target.
Vischi looks for the body kick but Brandao saw that one coming.
Brandao lands a front kick.
Vischi is breathing heavily.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Vischi with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Brandao to score with a decent uppercut.
Nice straight punches there by Brandao. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Brandao.
Crunch! Brandao slams his shin into Vischi's torso.
Vischi tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Brandao lands a nice looking body shot.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Brandao.
Marcus Brandao is winning the standup battle so far.
Brandao throws a hook but Vischi blocks it.

Vischi fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Vischi throws a right and a left that Brandao avoids nicely.
Brandao connects with a body shot that sends Vischi's belly button to the back.
Brandao bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Vischi's head backwards.
Vischi has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Brandao.
Vischi moves in looking to clinch but Brandao pushes him off.
Vischi walks forward, straight into a front kick from Brandao.
Brandao closes the distance and catches Vischi with a lead hook that drops him to the canvas! Vischi is clearly dazed and struggling here! 3,4,5,6,7 and Vischi is up to his feet but the referee has called it off! Vischi is still far too wobbly and he's not going to allow the fight to continue! Brandao takes it!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:28 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Marcus Brandao!
Marcus Brandao decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
