Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kuhan Bathmanaban (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Felipe Garcio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Garcio comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Strange Behaviour kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Garcio tries to keep at a distance but Bathmanaban has taken the fight into the clinch.
Garcio tries for a takedown. No joy.
Bathmanaban's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Bathmanaban lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Garcio circles away quickly and effectively.
Garcio closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Garcio lands in his opponent's guard.
Garcio slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Bathmanaban is trying to control Garcio's posture but Garcio avoids it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Garcio has hold of Bathmanaban's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Bathmanaban tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Garcio cranks the arm and Bathmanaban screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Bathmanaban, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Felipe Garcio!
After winning the bout, Felipe Garcio thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
