Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Irving Conley!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jung Si Kung!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Kenichi Hosakawa and Yuuki Gou.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kung shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Kung showed some decent athleticism there.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Conley wants to control but Kung is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Conley looking for submissions off his back.
Kung not doing much here.

Kung escapes and gets back to his feet.

Conley moves into range and clinches up with Kung.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.

Kung gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Conley regains guard.

Conley wants to sweep but no luck.
Kung controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Conley avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Kung showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Conley looking to hit a scissor sweep but Kung is one step ahead there.

Conley escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Kung gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Kung stays in close to Conley's body and controls the position.
Kung passes Conley's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Conley is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Conley is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Kung's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Kung's back!
You can see the frustration on Kung's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

Kung is trying to break free.

Kung is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Conley gets his way!
You can see the frustration on Kung's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Kung is trying to get back to his feet. He's worked up on to his knees and now he's on his feet with his head on the canvas, trying to shake Conley off. It looks like it's working - Conley slides off, much to his dismay, and we're back to standing! Kung displaying calm under pressure there.
Conley will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jung Si Kung dominated that round.
That's time! Back to the action!



Kung darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Conley tries to get to full guard but Kung has control of the leg.

Kung is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Conley has managed to free his arm - good work.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kung controlling the action here.
Conley is trying to maintain the position but Kung is very close to passing his half guard.

Kung wants to control but Conley is keeping him busy.
Kung with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
Conley regains full guard. Nicely done.
Kung wants to pass the guard but Conley is keeping the position.

Jung Si Kung has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.

Kung fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Conley to the ground. Kung is now in Conley's guard.
Conley is trying to keep Kung in close.
Conley wants to sweep but no luck.

It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Conley wants to sweep here but Kung controlling him for the moment.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Kung moves into the clinch successfully.

Kung decides to pull guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Kung looking for a sweep. Not yet Kung, not yet.
Kung throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.

Kung seems keen to control Conley's posture.
Conley prevents Kung from getting back to his feet.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Kung shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Kung keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Conley is trying to maintain the position but Kung is very close to passing his half guard.
Conley wants to get back to full guard.
Conley wants to control but Kung is keeping busy.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Irving Conley.
Conley tries to clinch there but Kung circles away.

Kung gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Conley tries for a takedown but Kung manages to get underhooks.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Kung gets underhooks to prevent Conley's takedown attempt.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Jung Si Kung showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!


Conley is looking to clinch.

Kung lands a left and a right that send Conley crashing to the mat, dazed. Kung thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!


Conley is rocked!


It looks like Irving Conley has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Nice sprawl there from Kung as Conley shoots in.
Oh Conley is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Kung misses with a head kick.

Kung pushes Conley up against the cage in a clinch.

Kung ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Kung no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Kung pulls Conley in close to prevent any damage.
Kung preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Kung lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.
Kung is pushing down on Conley's leg trying to pass to half guard. Conley is fighting to maintain full guard but Kung has managed to sneak the leg through.
Still in half guard, Kung seems content to control.
Kung has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Kung looking to ground and pound but Conley is blocking nicely.
Kung controlling from mount.
Kung drops a big elbow. That's hurt Conley! More shots from Kung and the ref steps in! The fight is over!
