Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Scott Hess (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kurcojeb Majka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Scott Hess! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Kurcojeb Majka! The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Arvi Lind and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Some wild striking there from Majka.
Majka connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Majka scores with a takedown into Hess's guard. Majka pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Hess is keeping the position for now. Majka postures up.
Hess can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Majka controls the pace. Hess will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Hess is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Hess is trying to keep Majka in close.
That's one minute gone in the round.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Scott Hess. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Majka lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Hess has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Hess and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. A momentary lapse in concentration from Hess enables Majka to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Hess manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Hess is trying to keep Majka in close.
Hess knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Majka on the ground. Hess is looking for a triangle but Majka pushes his legs off easily.
Majka slips nicely into half guard. Hess avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Majka.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Majka perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Majka is pressing down on Hess's thigh, looking to free his foot. Hess is holding on for now. Hess wants to control but Majka is keeping busy and won't allow it. Majka controlling the action here. Majka is working for a submission of some sort.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Majka works his foot free and advances to mount. Majka looking to control but Hess is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Majka has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Hess's face.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Majka punching from mount but Hess doing a good job of avoiding damage. Hess wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Majka.
Majka avoids the attempt from Hess to control. Majka tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Poor strikes thrown by Majka there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Hess really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Majka controlling from the full mount. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kurcojeb Majka dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Hess dives in and grabs Majka's left leg, looking for a takedown. Majka pushes down on Hess's head and hops out. Hess tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Majka paws at him with a jab and circles away. Majka drives through with a takedown into Hess's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Majka throws a big elbow that misses. Majka has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Majka trying to control but Hess is working from the bottom. We've been informed that Majka has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight. Majka stands and steps away. Hess gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hess on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Majka throws a hook to the side of Hess's head but Hess sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Majka has Hess up against the cage in a clinch.
Majka pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Hess gets caught napping as Majka dives in and scores a takedown. Hess manages to retain guard. Kurcojeb Majka has got the better of the ground game so far. Majka is breathing heavily. Hess keeping moving, preventing Majka from controlling successfully. Majka looking to pass the guard. Hess looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Majka passes into side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hess struggling a bit here. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. Hess tries to buck Majka off but Majka is having none of it. Majka working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Hess prevents Majka from improving position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here. Hess is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Majka has just dragged him back down to the mat.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Hess wants to control but Majka postures up. Majka taking a breather here. The strikes coming from Majka are missing the target in this wave of attacks. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Majka rushes Hess and presses him up against the cage. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Hess takes an elbow to the temple.
It looks like Scott Hess has been cut. Hess tries to pull guard but Majka won't allow it.
Majka landing knees to the head.
Majka's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Majka throws a 1-2 combo that connects squarely on Hess's jaw, knocking him onto his back! Majka dives in looking to finish as Hess flails his arms in a desperate attempt to block Majka's strikes! Majka is raining down hammerfists and the ref stops it! Hess's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but Hess was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kurcojeb Majka!
