Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dan Dimont (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Raymond Holt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Holt is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Brooklyn Nine-Nine Theme Song. This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Dan Dimont! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Raymond Holt! The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Colin Fotheringham and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Holt throws a series of punches but Dimont avoids them all with ease. Holt throws a series of punches but Dimont avoids them all with ease. Dimont shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Holt sprawls well. Holt wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Dimont gets slowly back to his feet. Holt throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Dimont stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Dimont is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Holt lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Dimont circles away quickly and effectively. A right-left combo lands from Holt. Holt pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Dimont back to the cage. Holt follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Dimont avoids the body shot from Holt.

Dimont with a poor takedown and Holt counters with a lovely straight right hand! Dimont throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Holt tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Dimont is in Holt's guard. Holt is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Dimont wants to control from the top but Holt keeps moving.
That's one minute gone in the round. Holt is trying to control the position but Dimont postures up. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Holt being controlled here, momentarily. Dimont in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Dimont postures up in Holt's guard and throws a big left but Holt blocks it. Holt lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard. Dimont is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Dimont has Holt pulled in close to control his posture. Dimont keeping moving, preventing Holt from controlling successfully. Dimont seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission. Holt tries to free his leg and advance position but Dimont is retaining full guard. Holt sitting in guard, not really doing much. Dimont pulls Holt in to control the position. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Dimont looking to hit a scissor sweep but Holt is one step ahead there.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Holt tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Dimont was well out of range. Poor timing from Holt. Raymond Holt seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Holt throws a shot to the body.
Dimont changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Holt tries to avoid it but Dimont manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Holt to the ground. Holt escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dan Dimont. That's going to take a lot out of him. Nice takedown defense from Holt. No joy for Dimont on that attempt. Holt smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Dimont takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Good standup being displayed there by Holt as he connects with a hook. Holt jabs Dimont to the body, keeping him at a distance. Holt lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Holt connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Dimont momentarily.
Holt is looking to clinch. Dimont fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Holt throws a head kick that misses. Holt misses with a series of wild punches.
Dimont tries to score a power double leg takedown but Holt sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Dimont somewhat.
That's four minutes gone in the round. No luck for Dimont with that takedown attempt. Holt moves into range and connects with a jab. Dimont fails with a takedown attempt. Holt lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. A combination from Holt does no damage. Danga de danga de dang - Holt scores with a four punch combination!
Dimont is rocked! Dimont slips under a jab from Holt. Oh Dimont is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Dimont has a takedown stuffed. Holt tries to close the distance and clinch but Dimont swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Raymond Holt dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Holt scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Dimont seems to have got his legs back now. Holt connects with a crisp jab. Dimont fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Holt avoids it really well and circles away. Holt scores with a body shot.
Holt lands a big uppercut and Dimont crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Dimont looks OK. Holt waves Dimont back to his feet! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Dimont fails with a takedown attempt. Holt dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Dimont tries for a takedown but Holt circles away easily and Holt counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dan Dimont. That's going to take a lot out of him. Holt cracks Dimont with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Holt misses with a jab, cross combination.
Dimont tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Holt defends well and Dimont ends up having to push Holt into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Dimont goes for a takedown in the clinch but Holt prevents it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dimont has picked Holt up - he's going for a ride! Dimont dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Dimont prevents Holt from standing back up.
Dimont throws a strike but Holt avoids it easily and moves to full guard. Dimont stopping the sweep attempt from Holt. Holt really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Dimont. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Dimont working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Holt utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Dimont passes Holt's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Dimont looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Holt wants to control but Dimont is keeping busy and won't allow it. Holt tries to get to full guard but Dimont has control of the leg. Dimont throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Dimont has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Dimont landing strikes from the mount. Dimont landing strikes, looking to finish! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Dimont landing punches.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dimont lands a heavy elbow. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Dimont cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
BOOM! Dimont connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Holt is rocked! Holt felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it. Dimont looking to ground and pound but Holt is blocking nicely. Dimont scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Holt?
Holt is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position. Dimont with shots to the head and body - Holt looks very uncomfortable down there. Dimont landing strikes, looking to finish! Holt is still in real trouble! Can Dimont finish him? Oooh a big shot lands for Dimont! Holt is out! The ref dives in to save him from more punishment!
