Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Winston Okafor!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Seb Freeth!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, William Gold and Andrew Berry.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Freeth looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Okafor misses with a wild body shot.
Freeth tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Okafor manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Freeth wants to clinch.
A low kick from Freeth is predictable there

and Okafor counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Freeth is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Okafor sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Freeth defending well though.
Freeth has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Okafor is working away from the top position though.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Freeth is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Okafor defends well.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Okafor lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.


It looks like Seb Freeth has been cut.
Freeth throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Okafor throws a push kick but Freeth slaps the foot to one side.
Okafor checks a leg kick.
Freeth tries to clinch there but Okafor circles away.
Okafor lands a right hook to the body.
Freeth misses with a takedown attempt - Okafor sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Okafor moves out of range of the leg kick from Freeth.
Freeth goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.

Freeth keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Okafor jabs at Freeth's body.
Freeth keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Okafor ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Freeth moves away.
Okafor moves out of range of the body kick.
The fight stays on the outside here - Freeth looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Freeth takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Okafor scores with a jab to the body.
Okafor lands with a thumping leg kick.
Seb Freeth seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Okafor throws a head kick that misses

and Freeth counters by moving into the clinch.
Okafor blocks an elbow strike.
Freeth wants a takedown but no success here.
Winston Okafor has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Seb Freeth.
Freeth wants to take the fight to the mat but Okafor manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Freeth creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.
Freeth lands a nice elbow.

Freeth misses with an elbow over the top.

Okafor breaks from the clinch.
Okafor is looking to wear down Freeth with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Okafor looks to land a left hand but Freeth moved out of range nicely.
Okafor connects with a nice looking jab.
Okafor looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Okafor throws a leg kick which misses Freeth's front leg but catches the back leg as Freeth tries to avoid it.
Freeth displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Okafor throws out the jab.
No luck for Freeth with that takedown attempt.
Freeth gets off balance looking for a body kick
and Okafor counters with a thumping low kick.
Freeth fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Freeth is looking to land body kicks.
Freeth does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Okafor checks a leg kick.
Freeth tries to land a leg kick but Okafor saw it coming and moves away.
Freeth is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Freeth moves out of range of the body kick from Okafor.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Okafor sizes up Freeth with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Freeth tries to close the distance and clinch up but Okafor swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Okafor jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Freeth tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Okafor scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Freeth looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Freeth misses with the body kick
and Okafor counters with an outside leg kick.
Freeth stuffs the takedown attempt from Okafor. Okafor gets slowly back to his feet.
Freeth throws a low kick, looking for Okafor's leg but Okafor calmly moves out of range.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

A big right followed by a crushing left from Okafor knocks Freeth out cold! Ouch - that one's going to be featured in highlight reels for years to come!
