Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tigran Badoyan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Donzel Fortunado (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fortunado has chosen Bob Dylan-Knockin' on Heaven's Door as his entrance music. Donzel Fortunado told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
19 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Tigran Badoyan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
38 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Donzel Fortunado! The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, James Ackerman and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fortunado shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Badoyan as he jumps to the side. Fortunado dives in and grabs Badoyan's left leg, looking for a takedown. Badoyan pushes down on Fortunado's head and hops out. A jab from Badoyan does it's job there.
It looks like Donzel Fortunado has been cut. Fortunado motions for Badoyan to come forward. Fortunado throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. Badoyan scores with a leg kick.
Fortunado takes a jab right on the kisser.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Ouch! a nice leg kick from Fortunado, right into the meat.
No joy there for Fortunado, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Badoyan is looking to slow Fortunado down with leg kicks. Fortunado fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Badoyan manages to avoid it. Fortunado tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Badoyan manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Fortunado keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Badoyan scores with a kick to the body.
Fortunado fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Tigran Badoyan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Donzel Fortunado. Badoyan avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Badoyan slips under a jab from Fortunado. A lazy left from Badoyan finds it's target. Fortunado gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Badoyan counters with a stiff right hand.
That's one minute gone in the round. Badoyan moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Badoyan swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Fortunado.
That has opened up Donzel Fortunado's cut even more. Horrible takedown attempt by Fortunado or perhaps it was just good defense by Badoyan, which made it look bad. Fortunado looks winded! Fortunado stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Badoyan. Badoyan scores with a kick to the body.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Fortunado gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Badoyan gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tigran Badoyan! After the big win, Tigran Badoyan made sure to do all the important stuff like thanking his sponsors Conquer and telling the interviewer how much he loves him.
