Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Marek Koltun (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Barney Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lee comes into a darkened arena with his song building. On To The Next One kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
11 - 7 - 1, fighting out of London, Marek Koltun! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
32 - 22 - 1, fighting out of London, Barney Lee! The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Richard Clark and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Koltun swinging wildly here.
Lee misses with a low kick. Lee throws a low kick but Koltun moves out of range easily. Koltun closes this distance looking for a takedown but Lee circles away. Lee has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Koltun. Jab by Koltun. Koltun connects with an inside leg kick. Marek Koltun seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Koltun closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Koltun trying to control from half guard but Lee is working away. Koltun prevents Lee from improving his position. Koltun is looking for the mount but instead finds himself back in full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lee wants to stand but Koltun is controlling the position. Koltun wants to control from the top but Lee keeps moving. Lee keeping full guard, as Koltun tries to pass. Lee keeping moving, preventing Koltun from controlling successfully. Koltun trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Koltun trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Koltun throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Lee works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Koltun throws a big elbow that misses. Koltun wants to control from the top but Lee keeps moving. Koltun pushes down on Lee's leg and manages to get into half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Koltun missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Koltun has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Koltun wants to free his trapped foot but Lee is holding on for dear life with his legs. Koltun stalling away here and it's allowed Lee to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard. Lee looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Koltun trying to control the position from guard on top but Lee is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Koltun distracts Lee with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Koltun in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Koltun looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Koltun trying to control the position from guard on top but Lee is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Koltun missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Koltun advances position into side control! Koltun working the body and head with strikes. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Marek Koltun dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Koltun closes the distance and clinches. Koltun breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Koltun throws a leg kick but Lee sees it coming and moves out of range. Koltun throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Lee throws a hook to the side of Koltun's head but Koltun sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Lee scores with a body shot.
Koltun misses the jab. Koltun misses with an uppercut. Lee lands with a good body shot. Lee changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Koltun misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

That's one minute gone in the round. Lee walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Lee misses with a wild body shot. Koltun is looking to land body kicks. Koltun changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Koltun swings for the body but Lee moves out of range.

and Koltun takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. A lazy left from Koltun finds it's target. Lee connects with a nice looking jab.
The fighters circling - Lee throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Koltun takes a kick to the body and keeps moving. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Lee walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Koltun checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lee moves forwards but Koltun connects with a nice, crisp jab. Lee bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Koltun takes a swing at Lee's ribcage but misses. Lee scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Barney Lee seems to be getting the better of the standup. A decent looking cross lands there for Koltun. Lee slips a straight right by Koltun. Koltun throws a big shot that misses. Lee bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. No luck for Koltun with that takedown attempt. Koltun scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Koltun throws out a token jab with nothing on it. I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Lee has cracked Koltun with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Lee lands another huge swinging hook and Koltun tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Koltun, before Lee can land any more shots!
