The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Svenson looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Shamrogue is fending him off so far but Svenson persists. Nope, Shamrogue circles away and we're back to standing.
Svenson looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Shamrogue shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Shamrogue was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Shamrogue is working for a guillotine from mount but Svenson frees his head quite easily.

Shamrogue wants to finish this one by submission but Svenson is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Shamrogue.
Svenson is in a horrible position here. Shamrogue smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

Shamrogue is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet!
Shamrogue goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

It looks like Runen Svenson has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Shamrogue shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Svenson counters with a shoot takedown. Shamrogue fights it but they end up in guard.

Shamrogue has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Svenson doesn't defend quickly enough and Shamrogue has managed to lock this one up! Can Svenson escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Shamrogue on a fantastic submission victory.
