Coming up we have a middleweight kickboxing rules bout between Pierre Nevershower (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adam Gates (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gates throws a nice looking combination but Nevershower bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Nevershower gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Gates wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Nevershower has him pressed against the ropes.
Gates is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the ropes.
Nevershower makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Gates has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Nevershower landing knees to the body.

Nevershower breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Adam Gates seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nevershower avoids a punch combination nicely.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Nevershower breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Gates gets tackled into the ropes by Nevershower. Nevershower maintains the clinch.

Nevershower pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Nevershower rushes Gates and presses him up against the ropes.

Nevershower's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Nevershower escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Gates uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Nevershower.

Nevershower fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Gates, pushing him back against the ropes.

Nevershower breaks the clinch.

Gates tries to keep at a distance but Nevershower has taken the fight into the clinch.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Gates is trying to force a seperation but Nevershower has the dominant position.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Nevershower breaks the clinch.
Gates swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

and Nevershower moves into the clinch.
Nevershower misses with a short punch on the inside.
Gates takes a knee to the side of the body.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Pierre Nevershower dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Nevershower rushes Gates and pushes him back against the ropes in a clinch.
Nevershower landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.

Nevershower drops Gates on his ass with a big knee up the middle! Gates bounces straight back to his feet before the referee can even start a count. We'll have to wait a moment to see if that actually hurt him or not, as he takes the standing 8 count.

It looks like Adam Gates has been cut.
Nevershower looks for a left high kick but can't connect. Nevershower backs up to catch a breather... no he lunges forward with a huge flying knee that smacks Gates's temple! It sends Gates violently to the canvas! The crowd goes nuts as Nevershower celebrates and the doctors try to help Gates!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:20 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Flying Knee). Pierre Nevershower!
