Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Bernard Hopkins!
The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Saam Ante and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hopkins moves to clinch but Nichols breaks away
and Nichols counters with a nice uppercut that drops Hopkins onto his backside! Hopkins bounces straight back to his feet before we have a chance to even start the count. He'll get the standing 8 count anyway before we get back underway.
It looks like Bernard Hopkins has been cut.
Hopkins tries to clinch up.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Nichols connects with a body shot.
Hopkins moves in looking to clinch but Nichols pushes him off.
Nichols throws a head kick that misses.
Nichols has been working on his boxing with his coaches at FJCP & KT gym in the buildup to the fight.
Nichols throws a right and a left that Hopkins avoids nicely.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Nichols connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Nichols swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Nichols misses with an attempted mid kick.
Nichols knocks out Hopkins with a massive right hand! The ref tackles Nichols before he can follow up with any more strikes and that's it everyone. Nichols picks up the big W with a huge KO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Scott Nichols!
