The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gudas throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Johnson shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Gudas sprawls well. Gudas wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Johnson gets slowly back to his feet.
A nice inside leg kick there by Gudas. That's going to slow Johnson down.
Johnson fails with an attempt to clinch.
Johnson shoots for a double leg takedown but Gudas sprawls well. He's pushed Johnson's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Gudas throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Johnson.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Johnson takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Gudas looks for a left high kick but can't connect. Gudas backs up to catch a breather... no he lunges forward with a huge flying knee that smacks Johnson's temple! It sends Johnson violently to the canvas! The crowd goes nuts as Gudas celebrates and the doctors try to help Johnson!
