Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Don The King!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Bill Brasky!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The King checks a low kick from Brasky.
The King dodges the punch combination from Brasky.
Brasky throws a nice looking combination but The King bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Brasky drives through and clinches with The King against the cage.

The King lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Brasky manages to get to full guard.
The King pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Brasky is keeping the position for now.
Brasky is looking to stand up but The King isn't so interested in that idea.

Brasky working for a triangle but The King defends it easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Brasky wants to sweep here but The King controlling him for the moment.
Brasky can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as The King controls the pace.
The King with a flurry of punches that miss.

The King throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Brasky works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
The King lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Brasky keeping moving, preventing The King from controlling successfully.
Brasky looking for a sweep. Not yet Brasky, not yet.
The King trying to control but Brasky is working from the bottom.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

The King shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Brasky's guard.
The King passes into half guard.
The King is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.

The King seems to be looking for submissions.
The King takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
The King is trying to control the action in half guard but Brasky is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
The King shoots in and drives through. Brasky sprawls well.

The King shoots for a double leg takedown but Brasky sprawls well. He's pushed The King's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

The King throws a hook but Brasky blocks it.
Brasky cracks The King with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.


It looks like Don The King has been cut.
The King moves in looking to clinch but Brasky pushes him off.
A combination from Brasky does no damage.
The King closes this distance looking for a takedown but Brasky circles away.
Brasky fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Brasky throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Brasky moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Brasky misses with a few strikes there.
Brasky keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Brasky moves into the clinch.
Brasky lands a shoulder strike.
The King lands a nice uppercut.
Brasky looking for a takedown.
The King working aggressively here.

The King manages to break the clinch.
Brasky throws a hook to the side of The King's head but The King sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Brasky lands an overhand right.

The King changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Brasky looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

The King stands up and we're back to a striking position.

Brasky misses with a series of wild punches.
Bill Brasky seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Brasky gets caught flat footed, as The King shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Brasky working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. The King doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. The King manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
The King working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.

Brasky is looking to stand up but The King isn't so interested in that idea.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

A close round but Bill Brasky will probably get the nod.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Brasky is looking to control The King's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Brasky avoid being mounted?

Brasky tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but The King wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from The King.
Brasky throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

The King moves into the clinch successfully.

Brasky breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

The King drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
The King works to advance to full mount. Brasky defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.

The King is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet!
Brasky fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Bill Brasky is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
The King fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Brasky.

The King rushes Brasky and presses him up against the cage.
Brasky tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

The King breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

The King closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Brasky tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Brasky is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but The King has just dragged him back down to the mat.
The King is looking to take a break and control but Brasky is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Brasky throws an elbow to the body but it doesn't land.
The King advances to mount.
Brasky really trying hard to get back to half guard here.

The King dominating with strikes here.
The King connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
The King tries to control but Brasky wriggling away.
Brasky is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.
Brasky is squirming around, avoiding The King's attempts to control the action.
The King takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Brasky tries to lock up and control but The King gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

The King can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Brasky is looking to escape.
The King breaks from Brasky's wrist control and lands an elbow.

The King is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Brasky has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Don The King overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
The King landing strikes from the mount and Brasky is in trouble!
The King trying to control but he's not successful this time.
The King avoids the attempt from Brasky to control.
Brasky working to try and regain half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Don The King dominated that second round.
The cut man is working on Don The King's cut.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!


The King shoots in and drives through. Brasky sprawls well.
The King shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Brasky as he jumps to the side.
The King throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Brasky's waist but Brasky gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing The King off to one side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Don The King. That's going to take a lot out of him.
The King looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
The King avoids a kick to the body.
The King is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Brasky drives through and clinches with The King against the cage.

The King tightens his grip and picks Brasky up, before dumping him to the ground. Brasky manages to land in guard.
Brasky throws a couple of heel strikes.

Brasky is looking for a triangle but The King pushes his legs off easily.
The King forces his way into half guard.
Brasky trying to control but The King postures up.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Brasky is not content to let The King control the position.

The King wants to stand up but Brasky is controlling the position.

Brasky manages to escape and get back to his feet!
Brasky is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
The King shoots in looking for a takedown. Brasky tries to sprawl out of it but The King keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Brasky manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Brasky goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
The King avoids a punch combination nicely.

The King shoots in and bounces Brasky off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

The King thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The King trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
The King trying to control but Brasky is working from the bottom.
The King tries to stand but Brasky is controlling from the bottom.
The King wants to control from the top but Brasky keeps moving.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Brasky looking for a guillotine here but The King defends easily.

Brasky escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. The King gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
The King stops Brasky from standing up.

The King drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and The King jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
The King trying to control but Brasky is working from the bottom.

Brasky is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
The King is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
The King wants to pass the guard but Brasky is keeping the position.

The King postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Brasky is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of The King, into his guard.
Brasky wants to control from the top but The King keeps moving.

Brasky wants to stand and escape but instead The King has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

And that's the end of the fight!
Bill Brasky comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Brasky has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
