The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nguyen tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Sobis paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Sobis fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Nguyen fails in his attempt to clinch.
Nguyen walks into a stiff left hand from Sobis.

It looks like Michael Nguyen has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Nguyen tries to clinch there but Sobis circles away.
Nguyen moves out of range of the body kick from Sobis.
Sobis darts in and out, connecting with a jab.

Nguyen moves into range and clinches up with Sobis.

Nguyen tries to close the distance and clinch but Sobis swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Nguyen tries to throw a body punch but Sobis avoids it by throwing Nguyen back against the cage.
A frustrated look appears on Sobis's face as he tries to break the clinch.

The crowd cheers as Nguyen lands an impressive looking overhand right. Sobis doesn't seem phased though.
