Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Robin Hood (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Reizo Okabe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Okabe's choice of entrance music: River City Boss Theme. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Dean Styles and David Schapiro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Okabe takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Hood misses with a series of wild punches.
Hood lands with a cross.
Hood misses with a double jab.
Okabe has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Hood throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
A head kick misses from Okabe.
Okabe misses the shot to the body.
Okabe looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Hood throws a right and a left that Okabe avoids nicely.
Okabe chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Okabe slips a jab and a cross from Hood.

and Hood counters with a nice uppercut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Hood rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Okabe moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Okabe turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Hood keeps the fight on the outside.
Hood misses with a double jab
and Okabe counters with a slapping leg kick.
Hood ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Okabe moves away.
Hood with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Okabe to score with a decent uppercut.

Okabe takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Hood throws a nice looking combination but Okabe bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Hood takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Okabe creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Hood throws a hook to the side of Okabe's head but Okabe sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
The crowd cheers as Okabe lands an impressive looking overhand right. Hood doesn't seem phased though.
It looks like Robin Hood has been cut.
Okabe tries to close the distance and clinch up but Hood swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Hood tries to bum rush Okabe with a series of wild strikes but Okabe uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Hood lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Okabe circles away quickly and effectively.

Hood throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Okabe sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Okabe steps into range and cracks Hood with a monster punch that buckles his knees! Hood flops backwards and Okabe dives into his guard looking to finish!

Hood is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.

No joy there for Hood, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Hood stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Okabe.
Okabe dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Hood. That did some damage!
Okabe lands a nice hook to Hood's body. Hood takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Robin Hood has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Reizo Okabe comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Okabe has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
