Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Duncan Jon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Blagojevic Batakovic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

11 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Duncan Jon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
9 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Blagojevic Batakovic!
The judges for this bout are Josh West, Paul Gruel and Roger Salmon.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Batakovic throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Jon tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Batakovic is in Jon's guard.
Batakovic is looking to work some ground and pound but Jon has wrist control.
Batakovic has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Batakovic won't allow Jon to get back to his feet.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Blagojevic Batakovic hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Jon feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Batakovics jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Batakovic on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Jon looks to score with a jab to the body but Batakovic is just out of range.
Duncan Jon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Jon definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Batakovic has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Jon throws a looping overhand right but Batakovic ducks down to avoid it.
Jon cracks Batakovic with an open hand slap.

Batakovic bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Batakovic is still on wobbly legs! Can Jon finish him?
Jon circles away from the clinch attempt.
Batakovic seems to have recovered his senses.
Jon misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Jon throws a monster overhand right that drops Batakovic! Jon follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!
