Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Antti Sokka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Larry Thorne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sokka comes to the cage accompanied by Black Sun Aeon - Core of Winter. Thorne has chosen Finntroll - Trollhammaren as his entrance music. Larry Thorne has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

20 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Larry Thorne!
The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Yukihiro Shimada and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thorne connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Thorne tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Sokka manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Thorne feints and then cracks Sokka's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Sokka down.
Thorne blocks a head kick by Sokka.
Thorne stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Thorne wants it to stay on the feet.
Sokka throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Thorne tries to clinch up.
Thorne buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Larry Thorne seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Thorne scores with a leg kick.
Thorne throws a sloppy head kick and Sokka moves out of range easily.
Thorne walks into a jab.
Sokka has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Thorne and Sokka are patiently standing in front of each other looking for an opening. Thorne throws a head kick. It's landed, knocking Sokka into next week! Ooooh that was huge! Thorne knows it - he's on the cage flexing is biceps. That's a bit weird considering he won by kick but whatever.
