Bankowski comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Rocket Man kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Joe Bone!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Morys Bankowski!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Donald Grub and William Gold.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bone ducks under a wild hook from Bankowski.
Bone will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Bankowski tries to close the distance and clinch up but Bone swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Bone shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

Bone is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Bone is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Bone is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Bankowski sees it coming and defends easily.
Bone will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Bone prevents Bankowski from standing back up.

Bone is looking for a kimura but Bankowski is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Bone to get the leverage.
Bone uses his free foot to push down on Bankowski's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Bankowski.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Bone working for a submission but Bankowski is keeping him at bay.

Bankowski is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
Bone throwing shots from mount but they're not landing.

Bone is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Bankowski has managed to escape the submission attempt.

Bone looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Bone looking for a guillotine from mount but Bankowski is having none of it.

Bone goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Bankowski turns into him and now he's in Bone's guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Bone working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Bankowski doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Bankowski manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Bone is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Bankowski rolls with it to try and escape but Bone cranks on the arm and Bankowski is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
