The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Acton fails with the takedown
and Wandunullha counters with a series of strikes. Acton will be more careful next time no doubt.

Wandunullha leaves Acton with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Acton darts in looking for a takedown but Wandunullha gets double underhooks and turns Acton into the cage.
Acton is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Wandunullha can't fight it off and eventually Acton manages to take the fight to the floor. Wandunullha looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Bob Acton.
