PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chim Skrylvia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Der Debil (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Debil comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Bulimic kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Der Debil was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Skrylvia dives in and grabs Debil's left leg, looking for a takedown. Debil pushes down on Skrylvia's head and hops out.
Debil misses with a takedown attempt - Skrylvia sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Debil closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Skrylvia to the mat! Skrylvia manages to get full guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Skrylvia is on top in guard.

Debil has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Skrylvia is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Debil is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Skrylvia is just riding it out for now. Debil eventually gives up the hold.

Skrylvia is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at Gracie Barra Hilo (Sauna + Bang for your Buck) that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet.

Debil is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Skrylvia doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Debil.

An out of breath Chim Skrylvia thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
