Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Gimme Money (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kenny Brandon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Money's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Money for Nothing. Brandon comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Catch Em By Surprise kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Kenny Brandon is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Gimme Money!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kenny Brandon!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Money fails to land the takedown.

Money forces Brandon back against the cage and clinches.

Money pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Brandon wants to control from the top but Money keeps moving.

Brandon takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

Money closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Money lands in his opponent's guard.

Money throws a big right hand that misses.
Brandon keeping moving, preventing Money from controlling successfully.

Money thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Brandon has his foot on Money's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Money works his way back into a safe position though.
Money throwing strikes from guard but Brandon blocks nicely.

Brandon can't keep his opponent in guard - Money advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That was a close round but I would say that Gimme Money will probably get the nod.

Money shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Brandon's guard.

Gimme Money has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kenny Brandon.

Brandon is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Money using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Brandon has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Money throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Brandon blocks it with crossed arms.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Brandon bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Brandon is looking to take a break and control but Money is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Money is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Brandon asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Money is looking for a sweep.

Brandon stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Money throws a good cross that connects.

Brandon gets a clinch.
Brandon is trying to break the clinch but Money is controlling him.

Money escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Gimme Money seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Money drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Brandon is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Money throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Brandon blocks it with crossed arms.
Brandon tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.

Money drags the fight down to the ground.
Money tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Money is looking to cinch up a triangle. Brandon throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Money's body to avoid the submission. Money has instead reached around Brandon's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Money arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:49 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Gimme Money!
