PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tommy Huynh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alberto Del Rio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Del Rio comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Requiem for a dream kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! The key to victory for Tommy Huynh has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 18 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Alberto Del Rio!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Huynh takes the fight into the clinch.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Huynh lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Del Rio circles away quickly and effectively.

Huynh might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Alberto Del Rio showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Alberto Del Rio hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Huynh lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

Huynh is working for a kimura here but Del Rio manages to reverse the position and he's now in Huynh's guard.

Alberto Del Rio is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
