Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tren Brooks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alfe Turnner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tren Brooks could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Alfe Turnner's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Turnner moves to clinch but Brooks breaks away

and Brooks moves into the clinch.
Turnner jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Brooks walks away with a smile on his face. Turnner gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Brooks ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Brooks no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Turnner throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Brooks's waist but Brooks gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Turnner off to one side.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Turnner working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well.

Turnner wants to get up but he can't break Brooks's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

That was a close second round but I would say that Tren Brooks will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! And we move into the final round!

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
