Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jory Hull (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gunnar Mortensen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mortensen has chosen In Extremo - Krummavisur as his entrance music. Gunnar Mortensen is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jory Hull!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Gunnar Mortensen!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Shigeki Fujiwara and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hull tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Mortensen was well out of range. Poor timing from Hull.
Hull lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Hull leaves Mortensen with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Mortensen shoots in for a double leg but Hull sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Nice takedown defense from Hull. No joy for Mortensen on that attempt.
Jory Hull has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gunnar Mortensen.
Hull slaps away a takedown attempt from Mortensen, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Mortensen tries a head kick but it misses.
Hull dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Mortensen. That did some damage!
Hull moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Mortensen on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Mortensen looks winded!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Hull lands a big head kick that sends Mortensen tumbling to the mat! Hull takes a step backwards and waves Mortensen back to his feet - he wants the finish!
It looks like Gunnar Mortensen has been cut.
Hull throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Mortensen shoots for a takedown but Hull saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Hull drops Mortensen with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Mortensen looks back up at him and smiles so Hull waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Mortensen is rocked!
Mortensen closes the distance looking to clinch
and Hull counters with a beautiful right hand that knocks Mortensen out cold! What a finish! Hull is going crazy, running around the mat, summersaulting off the corner posts and screaming into the cameras. Something tells me he's pretty happy!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:53 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Jory Hull!
In defeat, Gunnar Mortensen stepped up to the mic, saying 'I´ll be back'.
