1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Gilberto Montesanti! The judges for this bout are , Don Winkell and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Montesanti gets the takedown into side control. Peters might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Montesanti sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Peters is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Peters can't do much from the bottom here. Montesanti trying to control the action but Peters is working from the bottom. Montesanti looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Peters is avoiding damage well.
Montesanti staying calm. Montesanti wants to control but Peters is keeping him busy. Peters on the wrong end of some ground and pound.
That's one minute gone in the round. Peters is not in a great position here, taking some shots. Montesanti looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Montesanti in side control, just content to control the action for now. Montesanti cracks Peters with a big right hand but Peters just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

Well, if Montesanti is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Montesanti lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Montesanti thows a huge punch but Peters dodges it nicely.
Peters wants to get back to his feet. Peters on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Montesanti is figuring out what he wants to do next. Peters has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Montesanti is working away from the top position though. Montesanti content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Montesanti not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Montesanti looks to land a strike but Peters avoids it nicely and regains full guard. Montesanti is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Montesanti showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Montesanti throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Montesanti stays in close to Peters's body and controls the position. Montesanti scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Montesanti is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Montesanti is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Montesanti controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Gilberto Montesanti dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Peters takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Peters is rocked! Montesanti is looking for a takedown. Wow, that's a brutal slam - Peters is in big trouble! Montesanti is landing strikes from the mount and this one is all over! The ref jumps in to save a confused looking Peters. Poor guy.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:18 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Slam). Gilberto Montesanti!
