The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Davis misses with a two punch combination.
Davis looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Munro looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Munro shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Munro showed some decent athleticism there.
Munro thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Davis pushes Munro off looking to stand but Munro dives back in and keeps control.

Munro decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Munro changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Davis tries to avoid it but Munro manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Davis to the ground. Davis escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Davis is looking to control Munro's arms but Munro gets an underhook and turns him. Now Davis has his back to the cage.

Davis manages to break the clinch.
Munro shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Davis as he avoids it easily.

enabling Davis to counter with a crisp jab.

and Davis counters with a single leg into guard. Munro didn't expect that.

Munro uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Davis misses with a jab, cross combination.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Randy Munro will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

and Davis counters with a nice double leg into side control. Munro won't be happy with that.
Munro manages to get back to half guard.
The fighters are battling for position here. Munro manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Munro manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Davis manages to get himself to full guard.
Davis can't keep his opponent in guard - Munro advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Davis wants to control but Munro is keeping busy and won't allow it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Munro trying to control from half guard but Davis is working away.

Munro has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Davis defend it? Munro steps over the head and cranks it - Davis is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Munro!
