Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Paul Luvi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Melekh David (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Luvi comes into the arena with Metallica- Creeping Death blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
15 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Paul Luvi! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
23 - 14 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Melekh David! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! David fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Luvi. The crowd cheers as Luvi lands an impressive looking overhand right. David doesn't seem phased though. David throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. David dives in for a single leg takedown but Luvi sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. David manages to break the clinch.
Luvi with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Luvi lands a jab. Luvi ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Luvi misses with a hook. Luvi will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Paul Luvi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. David ducks under a wild hook from Luvi. Luvi pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Luvi misses with a body shot.
David tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Luvi is able to avoid easily. Luvi throws a push kick but David slaps the foot to one side. Luvi throws a nice outside leg kick. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! David misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Luvi displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from David.
That's one minute gone in the round. David circles away from the clinch attempt.
Luvi leaves David with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Luvi has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Paul Luvi has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Melekh David. David throws an overhand right that lands on Luvi's shoulder, as Luvi tries to avoid the shot. A head kick from David lands but Luvi takes it in his stride. Luvi scores with a crisp jab that stopped David in his tracks. David misses with a jab, cross combination.
Luvi throws a body punch but David moves out of range. Luvi misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

No joy there for Luvi, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

No luck with that takedown attempt from David. David rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Luvi counters with a lovely straight right hand!
That's two minutes gone in the round. David moves out of range as Luvi throws a body kick.
Luvi closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. A battle for position here, against the cage. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. David is trying to break the clinch but Luvi is controlling him. David manages to break the clinch.

David goes for a high kick. It partially lands. Luvi throws the left hand but David avoids the punch easily. David feints and then cracks Luvi's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Luvi down. A lazy left from David finds it's target. David manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Luvi on his heels. He'll look to pass Luvi's guard now, I'm sure.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. David trying to control but Luvi is working from the bottom. Luvi wants to sweep but no luck. David works a leg free and moves into half guard. Luvi is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of David's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take David's back! Luvi doesn't have the hooks in and David manages to turn into his guard.
David wants to control from the top but Luvi keeps moving. Luvi wants to stand and escape but David is having none of it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. David preventing the sweep. Luvi is trying to control the position but David postures up. David throwing strikes from guard but Luvi blocks nicely. David wants to control from the top but Luvi keeps moving. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Luvi is on top in guard.
Luvi tries to free his leg and advance position but David is retaining full guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! David is pulling down on Luvi's head. It's preventing any offense from Luvi, at least for the moment. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. David looking for a sweep. Not yet David, not yet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Paul Luvi will probably get the nod. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Luvi has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Luvi there as he acknowledges the shot. David fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Luvi. David takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

David looks for the body kick but Luvi saw that one coming. David moves out of range of the body kick. The fighters circle, before Luvi throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into David's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Luvi lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:27 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Kick & Punches). Paul Luvi! Our winner, Paul Luvi, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
