Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Claudio Beck (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fedor Emelianenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fedor Emelianenko told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Claudio Beck! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Fedor Emelianenko! The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Igor Prikhodko and Ivan Kurochkin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Beck tries to clinch but Emelianenko moves out of range. Emelianenko looking for a takedown here - he's got it. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Emelianenko is fighting to break Beck's control of his arms but Beck is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Beck working a defensive guard here.
Beck keeping full guard, as Emelianenko tries to pass. Emelianenko must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Emelianenko being controlled here momentarily. Beck controls Emelianenko momentarily but Emelianenko frees himself.
We're going to have a standup here because Claudio Beck wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Emelianenko closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Beck keeping control of the position.

Well, if Emelianenko is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Emelianenko tries to stand but his arm is trapped. Emelianenko wants to free his trapped foot but Beck is holding on for dear life with his legs.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Excellent takedown into side control there by Emelianenko.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Beck sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Emelianenko throwing shots but Beck is blocking nicely. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Beck wants to control but Emelianenko is keeping busy.
Emelianenko looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Beck trying to control but Emelianenko postures up.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Claudio Beck wasn't doing enough on the ground. Emelianenko darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Emelianenko stops Beck from getting back to his feet.

Beck is staying active underneath Emelianenko, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Beck keeping hold of Emelianenko's head, controlling as best he can. Emelianenko is thwarting Beck's attempts to control the position. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Fedor Emelianenko wasn't active enough on the ground. Emelianenko fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Beck sprawls well initially but Emelianenko persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Emelianenko looks winded! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Beck trying to control from the bottom.

Fedor Emelianenko dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Emelianenko closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Emelianenko wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

That's one minute gone in the round. Emelianenko tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Beck avoids it. Emelianenko is trying to pull guard but Beck has him pressed against the cage. Emelianenko tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Beck smiles and moves away.
Beck tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Emelianenko manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Emelianenko drops Beck with a beautiful combination! Beck stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Emelianenko is looking for the KO!
Beck is rocked!
It looks like Claudio Beck has been cut. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Emelianenko measures up his opponent and throws a superman punch that connects to the jaw! Down goes Beck! The ref steps in, and that's the ball game folks!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:48 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Superman Punch). Fedor Emelianenko!
