Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Dedrick Danns (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zalmai Qazi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Qazi is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by "Arab Americans" by Jim Johnston. Zalmai Qazi is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Robert Douchet and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Danns rushes Qazi and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Qazi looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Qazi escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Qazi checks a low kick from Danns.
Danns really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Qazi tries to score a power double leg takedown but Danns sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Qazi somewhat.

and Danns counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Danns is pushing down on Qazi's leg trying to pass to half guard. Qazi is fighting to maintain full guard but Danns has managed to sneak the leg through.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Danns in particular looking to stall.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Danns wants to get back to his feet.
Danns will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Danns cracks Qazi with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
