McDonald is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Conquering Dystopia - Ashes Of Lesser Men. Damien Sepultra has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Jonathan Paton and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McDonald fakes the leg kick and cracks Sepultra in the body.
McDonald swings and misses with a hook to the body.
McDonald throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Decent striking displayed by Sepultra there.
It looks like Tony McDonald has been cut.
McDonald fails with an attempt to clinch.
McDonald wants to clinch up but Sepultra keeps it at a distance.
McDonald throws a push kick but Sepultra slaps the foot to one side.
McDonald throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
McDonald misses with a low kick.
McDonald cracks Sepultra with a good jab.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Sepultra paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

and McDonald counters with a stiff right hand.
McDonald fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Sepultra manages to avoid it.
McDonald drives through and clinches with Sepultra against the cage.

Sepultra is trying to break the clinch but McDonald is controlling him.
McDonald lands with a short punch from the clinch.
I was talking to Sepultra's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Sepultra lands a shot to the body.
Sepultra digs a right hand into McDonald's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on McDonald's gas tank.
Sepultra breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
A nice leg kick lands there from McDonald.

McDonald looks winded!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Sepultra does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
An inside leg kick lands from Sepultra.
Sepultra jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Sepultra throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
McDonald takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
A punch lands to the side of McDonald 's head but he takes it in his stride.
McDonald clinches up against the cage.
Sepultra's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
A chopping leg kick lands by Sepultra.
McDonald has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Sepultra throws a series of punches but McDonald avoids them all with ease.
McDonald tries to land a front kick but Sepultra steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Sepultra throws a right and a left that both miss.
Sepultra throws an ugly left hook that misses
and McDonald counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
A slapping leg kick lands for McDonald.
Sepultra looks to land a body kick but McDonald moved away.
A big left from McDonald misses.
Sepultra displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as McDonald throws out the jab.
McDonald ducks under a wild hook from Sepultra.
McDonald fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Sepultra manages to avoid it.
Sepultra moves out of range of the body kick.
Sepultra chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before McDonald can pounce on him.
McDonald throws a leg kick which misses Sepultra's front leg but catches the back leg as Sepultra tries to avoid it.
McDonald misses with a wild body shot.
McDonald throws a push kick but Sepultra slaps the foot to one side.
McDonald steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Sepultra. That one must have hurt.
McDonald just misses with a punch to the body.
Sepultra avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Good leg kick by Sepultra there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Sepultra throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent McDonald stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
McDonald misses with a kick to the body.
McDonald throws a wild body kick that Sepultra sees coming a mile off.

Nice defenses there by McDonald.
A nice leg kick lands there from McDonald.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
A jab from Sepultra does it's job there.
That has opened up Tony McDonald's cut even more.
Sepultra sends McDonald crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Sepultra is motioning to the referee to let McDonald up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
McDonald is rocked!
McDonald drops his hands for a split second and Sepultra immediately capitalizes on the opportunity by smashing a powerful hook into McDonald face, sending his mouthguard sailing through the air, much to the delight of the crowd. Sepultra follows up with a right hand that knocks McDonald into next week. He's out cold and this fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Damien Sepultra!
Damien Sepultra decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
