Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Carlton Oneill (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Elijah Robert (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Robert's choice of entrance music: Shosholoza. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Carlton Oneill! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Elijah Robert! The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Steve Smith and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Oneill gets caught napping as Robert dives in and scores a takedown. Oneill manages to retain guard. Robert avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Robert missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Robert chips away with some ground and pound. Robert throws a strike but Oneill rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Oneill postures up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Robert keeping moving, preventing Oneill from controlling successfully. Oneill with a flurry of punches that miss. Robert manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

That's two minutes gone in the round. Robert unloads with some shots from mount but Oneill bucks and avoids them well.
Oneill is bucking up trying to escape but Robert cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Robert can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Oneill is looking to escape. Oneill really is a fat lump.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Robert jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Oneill is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Oneill and Robert has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Oneill managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Robert.
Sloppy strikes there by Robert. Robert is putting a hurting on Oneill here, landing some big shots from side control. Robert stands up and beckons Oneill to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Robert swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Robert feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Robert must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Robert pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Oneill is keeping the position for now. Robert throws an elbow that misses. Oneill uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Robert's guard. Nice move by Oneill! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Oneill drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Oneill jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Elijah Robert dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Robert takes the fight into the clinch. Robert tries a knee to the head but Oneill blocks it.
Oneill blocks an elbow strike from Robert.
Oneill tries to circle away but Robert has him pinned against the cage. Oneill is trying to break the clinch but Robert is controlling him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Oneill is trying to break free. Robert comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
It looks like Carlton Oneill has been cut. Robert lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Oneill throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Robert missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Oneill tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land. Robert frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Oneill tries to get back to half guard but can't. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Oneill throwing hammer fists to the chest of Robert. What's that going to do exactly? Robert wants to control the pace but Oneill is squirming around nicely. Robert lands a big shot to the head and Oneill winces in pain. He's tapped out due to strikes!
