Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 9 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tyron Marshall! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Andy Scott! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Frank Dennis and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Scott throws a head kick but Marshall moves out of range.
Marshall cracks the inside of Scott's front leg. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Scott. Scott fails to land with a series of punches.
Scott lunges at Marshall with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Marshall's hand. Marshall definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Scott throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Marshall scores with a head kick. Scott tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time. Marshall moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Scott swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Scott throws a right and a left that Marshall avoids nicely. Marshall connects with a high kick. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Marshall shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Scott manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Marshall tries to free his leg and advance position but Scott is retaining full guard. Scott is working an open guard so Marshall takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Marshall scores with a nice strike. Scott fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Marshall clinches up against the cage. Scott comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.

Scott's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Scott throws a sloppy head kick and Marshall moves out of range easily. Scott showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Marshall.
Marshall looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Scott is looking to escape. Marshall missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Scott is trying to get back to full guard. Scott keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Marshall tries to stand but his arm is trapped. Marshall not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Scott is looking for a sweep. Marshall is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Scott is still trying to improve position. Marshall with the ground and pound but Scott uses the opportunity to regain guard. Marshall lands a couple of decent looking shots. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Scott avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Scott holds on and takes a little breather. Marshall trying to control but Scott is working from the bottom. Marshall stands and steps away. Scott gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Marshall throws a quick inside leg kick. The fight stays on the outside here - Marshall looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Scott throws a series of punches but Marshall moves out of range. Scott tries to score a power double leg takedown but Marshall sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Scott somewhat. Scott looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Marshall throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Scott's head. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Scott fails in his attempt to clinch. Marshall shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Scott sprawls well. Scott wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Marshall gets slowly back to his feet. Marshall shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Scott defends it nicely. Marshall throws a right and a left that Scott avoids nicely. Marshall lands a leg kick that knocks Scott off balance momentarily. The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky. Scott lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Marshall circles away quickly and effectively. Marshall throws the kick towards the body but Scott avoids it. Marshall pushes Scott up against the cage in a clinch. Marshall throws an elbow but it misses.
Scott is trying to pull guard but Marshall turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Marshall lands a nice elbow from the clinch. Scott tries to circle away but Marshall has him pinned against the cage. Scott's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Scott scores with a head kick.
Marshall throws a nice looking combination but Scott bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Some wild striking there from Scott.

Marshall throws a mid kick that lands with a slap. Marshall jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Scott looks to land a combination but Marshall avoids it well. Marshall shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Scott sprawls well. Scott wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Marshall gets slowly back to his feet. Marshall fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Scott has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Marshall has closed the distance and engaged Scott in a clinch.

Scott is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. With the fighters up against the cage, Marshall throws an elbow but misses. Marshall breaks from the clinch.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here. With the two fighters working up against the cage, Marshall just misses with a elbow thrown towards Scott's brow. Marshall pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage. Marshall is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Scott gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tyron Marshall. That's going to take a lot out of him. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Marshall prevents a takedown attempt there.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Marshall accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Marshall wants to stand but Scott is controlling his posture from full guard. Marshall throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.

Tyron Marshall overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Marshall throws a big elbow that misses. Marshall stands up from guard. Let's bang! Scott misses with a double jab.
Scott stuffs the takedown. Marshall moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Scott throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Scott lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Marshall circles away quickly and effectively. Scott takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Marshall will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Marshall can't fight it off and eventually Scott manages to take the fight to the floor. Marshall looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Scott wants to control from the top but Marshall keeps moving.

Marshall shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Scott but Scott pushes him off and we're back to square one. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tyron Marshall. That's going to take a lot out of him. Marshall avoids the head kick by Scott.
Marshall buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Scott cracks Marshall with an open hand slap. Marshall throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body. Scott takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards. Tyron Marshall seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Scott throws a lazy head kick and Marshall counters with a series of strikes. Scott will be more careful next time no doubt. Marshall moves into range and clinches up with Scott. Scott takes an elbow to the temple. Marshall goes for a takedown attempt but Scott pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Scott on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Marshall tries for a takedown but Scott sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Marshall lands with a kick to the temple. Scott shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Scott tries a head kick but it misses.
A head kick from Marshall lands but Scott takes it in his stride. This has been an exciting period of action! Both fighters circling a little - Marshall finishes the exchange with a kick to the body. Scott's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down. No joy there for Marshall, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Scott throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

With the fighters up against the cage, Marshall throws an elbow but misses. Marshall breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Marshall tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Scott swivels and escapes. Scott swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
A chopping leg kick lands by Marshall. Tyron Marshall is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Scott closes the distance and pushes Marshall back into the cage. Marshall prevents a takedown attempt there.
A nice glancing elbow lands by Marshall. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Scott working hard to break the clinch. Andy Scott has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Scott decides to pull guard. Marshall stands up and waves to Scott to follow him.
And that's the end of the fight! Tyron Marshall showed his dominance in that final round. Well Marshall has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
