Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between King Hippo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lee Noris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Noris has chosen Don Trip- Iverson as his entrance music. Lee Noris will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, King Hippo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Lee Noris! The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Hugh Johnson and Ben Watson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hippo throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Noris. Noris tries to clinch but Hippo moves out of range. Hippo stuffs the takedown attempt from Noris. Noris gets slowly back to his feet. Hippo gets tackled into the cage by Noris. Noris maintains the clinch. Hippo swings wildly with an uppercut but Noris uses good head movement to avoid it. Noris is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Hippo pulls him back up using the underhooks. Noris lands a takedown into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Noris throws a big right hand that misses. Noris throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Hippo works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Noris connects with a couple of short punches. Noris is working Hippo over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
It looks like King Hippo has been cut. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Noris with a flurry of punches that miss. Noris with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Noris throws a big elbow that misses. Noris postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Noris keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Hippo's head.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Hippo tries to sprawl but Noris drives through with a takedown into half guard. Hippo is breathing heavily. Noris lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Noris is nestled in close to Hippo, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Hippo is looking to escape. Noris winds up and cracks Hippo with a swinging punch to the side of the head. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Noris connects with a nice short shot to Hippo's temple. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Hippo's guard. Noris lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Lee Noris dominated that round. The cut man is working on King Hippo's cut. That's time! Hippo's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Hippo punishes Noris's body with a nice straight punch. Noris tries to sprawl but Hippo drives through with a takedown into half guard. Hippo trying to control from Noris's half guard. Hippo gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Noris.

Noris gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Noris dives in and grabs Hippo's left leg, looking for a takedown. Hippo pushes down on Noris's head and hops out. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Hippo stuffs the takedown attempt from Noris. Noris gets slowly back to his feet. Lee Noris seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

That was a close second round but I would say that King Hippo will probably get the nod. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Noris wants to clinch up but Hippo keeps it at a distance. A momentary lapse in concentration from Hippo enables Noris to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Hippo manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Noris connects with a couple of short punches. Noris cracks Hippo with a solid left hand. Noris throws an elbow that misses. Hippo uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Noris's guard. Nice move by Hippo! Hippo trying to control the position from guard on top but Noris is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Noris scrambles and gets back to his feet.

Noris is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Noris tries to clinch up but Hippo circles away and keeps his distance. Hippo misses with a two punch combination.

Hippo manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Noris is looking to clinch but Hippo is avoiding it.

And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Lee Noris. I think Noris has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
