0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Anderson Alves! The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Kenichi Hosakawa and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Alves shoots in looking for a takedown. Barrera tries to sprawl out of it but Alves keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Barrera manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Barrera is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Barrera clinches with his opponent.

Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Barrera scores with a couple of body punches from the bottom.

Alves tries to stand but Barrera is controlling from the bottom. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Barrera is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Alves wants to stand but Barrera has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Anderson Alves has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Alonzo Barrera is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Barrera is pulling down on Alves's head to control his posture.
And that's the end of the fight! Alonzo Barrera showed his dominance in that final round. Well Barrera has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
