Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Drake Kartella (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kevin Davies (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kartella comes to the cage accompanied by Real G's. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Bruno Hogan and Ben Watson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kartella throws a hook but Davies avoids it easily.
Davies tries to clinch but Kartella is having none of it.
Davies uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Kartella.

Davies is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Davies gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Kartella.
Kartella lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Davies changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Kartella looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Davies swings around for an armbar but Kartella sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Davies's guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Davies can do anything to dispel that myth.

My spies in Finch Farm inform me that Davies has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!
Kartella is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Davies rolls with it to try and escape but Kartella cranks on the arm and Davies is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
