Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Abner Llorent (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sarawut Suttikul (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Abner Llorent has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Abner Llorent! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Sarawut Suttikul! The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Daniel Blasius and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Llorent keeps the fight on the outside. Suttikul scoring well with a low kick there.
Llorent tries to clinch up but Suttikul circles away and keeps his distance. Suttikul throws a sloppy head kick and Llorent moves out of range easily. Llorent tries to close the distance and clinch up but Suttikul swats him away and circles back towards the center. Suttikul moves into the clinch. Suttikul working hard to break the clinch. Stalling in the clinch from Suttikul.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Suttikul has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Suttikul breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Suttikul fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Llorent sprawls well initially but Suttikul persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Suttikul is looking for submissions but instead, Llorent has regained full guard.
Llorent is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Suttikul would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Llorent controlling the position. Suttikul postures up in Llorent's guard and throws a big left but Llorent blocks it. Llorent will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Llorent is adopting a defensive guard. Suttikul trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Abner Llorent just wasn't active enough. Suttikul shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Suttikul was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Suttikul tries to advance position but instead Llorent slips a leg back in to half guard. Llorent is doing well to control the position and prevent Suttikul from advancing to side control. Suttikul not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Llorent makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Llorent.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Llorent pulls Suttikul in close to prevent any damage. Llorent has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Abner Llorent wasn't doing enough on the ground. Suttikul shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Suttikul showed some decent athleticism there. Suttikul thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Llorent regains full guard. Nicely done. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Llorent is adopting a defensive guard. Suttikul tries to free his leg and advance position but Llorent is retaining full guard. The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Abner Llorent. Suttikul shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Llorent napping and manages to drive through into side control! Llorent gets back to half guard. Llorent moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Suttikul must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Suttikul looking to pass the guard. Suttikul wants to control from the top but Llorent keeps moving.

Llorent walks forward, straight into a front kick from Suttikul. Suttikul is looking to clinch. Llorent throws a sloppy head kick and Suttikul moves out of range easily. Suttikul closes the distance and pushes Llorent back into the cage. Suttikul is trying to break the clinch but Llorent is controlling him. Suttikul can't break the clinch.
Suttikul escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Suttikul closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Llorent to the mat! Llorent manages to get full guard. Llorent pulls Suttikul in close to his closed guard and prevents Suttikul from doing any damage or advancing position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Suttikul throwing strikes but missing. Llorent seems keen to control Suttikul's posture. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

That sent Llorent stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Good leg kick by Suttikul there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
A nice leg kick lands there from Suttikul. Suttikul goes for a high kick. It partially lands. Suttikul fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Llorent manages to avoid it. Suttikul fails with an attempt to clinch.
Llorent displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Suttikul throws out the jab. Suttikul shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Llorent moves into full guard.

And that's the end of the fight! Sarawut Suttikul comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Suttikul has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
