Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Isidro Nielsen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bj Mayhem (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Bj Mayhem was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Richard Clark and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mayhem tries to clinch
and Nielsen counters with a nice double leg into side control. Mayhem won't be happy with that.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Mayhem regains half guard, as Nielsen was trying to land strikes.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
It looks like Nielsen is going to stand back up.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Bj Mayhem hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Nielsen is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.
Mayhem breaks from Nielsen's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Mayhem tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Mayhem is landing with some decent strikes but Nielsen is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Nielsen really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Mayhem prevents Nielsen from getting the reversal.
Mayhem is looking to stand but Mayhem has his arms wrapped tightly around him, looking to prevent the damage.

Nielsen is trying to reverse the position but instead Mayhem has taken his back - oops!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Nielsen wants to control but Mayhem passes into side.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bj Mayhem dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Mayhem goes for a double leg but Nielsen avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Nielsen continues to drive forward.
Mayhem gets control of Nielsen's arms and successfully pulls guard. Mayhem will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Mayhem manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Nielsen manages to get himself to full guard.

Nielsen is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Nielsen lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Nielsen will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Mayhem gets back to full guard.
Mayhem is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Mayhem is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.

Nielsen postures up in Mayhem's guard and throws a big left but Mayhem blocks it.
Nielsen lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Nielsen wants to stand but Mayhem has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Mayhem manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Nielsen tries to hold on but Mayhem pushes him away.
Nielsen is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

Nielsen is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Mayhem moves to the back.
Nielsen covers up after that shot from Mayhem.
Nielsen rolls, trying to escape but Mayhem keeps control of the position.
Mayhem connects with a series of strikes and the referee is calling for Nielsen to escape the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Mayhem is landing with strikes. Nielsen can't take much more of this.
Mayhem biding his time, controlling Nielsen.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Mayhem gets his hands free as Nielsen looks to control.
Nielsen is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.
Mayhem has got one arm under Nielsen's chin. This could be trouble... Nielsen trying to control the other hand but Mayhem gets it free and sqeezes tight - just a matter of time now! Yep, Nielsen has tapped out! The fight is over!
