Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Caio Cobrero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Psycho Vaughan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Psycho Vaughan will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Caio Cobrero! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Psycho Vaughan! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Gwen Towbar and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Horrible takedown attempt by Vaughan or perhaps it was just good defense by Cobrero, which made it look bad. Vaughan shoots and misses and Cobrero decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Vaughan's guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Cobrero sitting in guard, not really doing much. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Cobrero stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Vaughan swivels though and keeps the full guard. Cobrero is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Vaughan looking to control.
Cobrero passes Vaughan's left leg - he's now in half guard. Cobrero is looking to take a break and control but Vaughan is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Vaughan is trying to maintain the position but Cobrero is very close to passing his half guard. Cobrero controlling the action here.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Caio Cobrero. Vaughan tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Cobrero defends well and Vaughan ends up having to push Cobrero into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Caio Cobrero has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Psycho Vaughan. Cobrero decides to pull guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Vaughan trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Cobrero manages to land a sweep and now he's on top! We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Vaughan can do anything to dispel that myth. Cobrero trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Cobrero controlling from the top position. Cobrero might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Vaughan is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Cobrero postures up in Vaughan's guard and throws a big left but Vaughan blocks it. Vaughan really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Cobrero. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Cobrero pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Vaughan is keeping the position for now.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cobrero preventing the sweep. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Cobrero in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Cobrero trying to control the position from guard on top but Vaughan is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Cobrero postures up.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Vaughan shoots in looking for a takedown. Cobrero tries to sprawl out of it but Vaughan keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Cobrero manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Vaughan misses with a takedown and Cobrero counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Vaughan! Cobrero decides to take the fight back to the feet. Vaughan with a poor takedown so Cobrero counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. This has been an exciting period of action! Cobrero missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Cobrero sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Vaughan's guard. Cobrero sitting and controlling from the half guard. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Vaughan avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Cobrero. Cobrero could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Well, if Cobrero is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Vaughan is staying active underneath Cobrero, who seems content to just control the action from this position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Caio Cobrero dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
The fight stays on the outside here - Cobrero looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Vaughan shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Vaughan closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Cobrero is trying to control but can't.
Vaughan is just content to waste time from the top position. Cobrero takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard. Vaughan trying to control the position from guard on top but Cobrero is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Vaughan wants to pass the guard but Cobrero is keeping the position. Cobrero controlling the position. Cobrero thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. Cobrero keeping full guard, as Vaughan tries to pass. Vaughan wants to control from the top but Cobrero keeps moving.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cobrero manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage. Vaughan throws a head punch that misses. Cobrero gets control of Vaughan's arms and successfully pulls guard. Cobrero will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Vaughan wants to control from the top but Cobrero keeps moving. Vaughan has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Cobrero to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Vaughan is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Cobrero pulls down on the head and he's put Vaughan to sleep! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:47 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Caio Cobrero!
