Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Michael Koko! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
13 - 16 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Nick Diaz! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Tiny Johnson and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Diaz throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Koko counters with a good low kick that Diaz was not able to check. Koko drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Diaz has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Koko moves out of range as Diaz strikes. Koko gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Diaz. Koko scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Diaz grits his teeth and throws a big right-left combo! Koko takes both shots clean on the chin and is out cold! Diaz cracks him once more on his way down, as the crowd goes wild! They enjoyed that one!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Nick Diaz! In defeat, Michael Koko stepped up to the mic, saying 'Koko sad.'.
