Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gipping John (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eric Ankudinov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ankudinov has chosen I must break you. as his entrance music. The key to victory for Gipping John has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 7 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Eric Ankudinov!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Tiny Johnson and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ankudinov moves into the clinch.

Ankudinov ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Ankudinov no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Ankudinov wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

John shoots for a double leg takedown but Ankudinov sprawls well. He's pushed John's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Ankudinov looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks John with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.


John is rocked!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Ankudinov seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Ankudinov looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Ankudinov looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks John with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
