Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Wendell Gallagher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cliff Anderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Wendell Gallagher! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Cliff Anderson! The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Robert Douchet and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Anderson clinches with his opponent.
Anderson prevents a takedown attempt there.
Gallagher is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Anderson to keep the fight standing. Gallagher is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Anderson pulls him back up using the underhooks. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Wendell Gallagher. That's going to take a lot out of him. Anderson breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Anderson lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Gallagher circles away quickly and effectively. Anderson lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Anderson looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Anderson shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Anderson is nestled in close to Gallagher, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gallagher is defending against the submission attempts here by Anderson.
Anderson misses with a head shot. Gallagher uses the momentum to regain guard. Anderson cracks Gallagher with a solid left hand. Anderson landing with the ground and pound. Gallagher is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Gallagher is trying to control the position but Anderson postures up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Anderson throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Anderson slips nicely into half guard. Anderson looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Gallagher with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Anderson throwing shots but Gallagher is blocking nicely. Anderson thumps the canvas. Gallagher has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Anderson is working away from the top position though. Gallagher is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Anderson is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Anderson landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Anderson content to control rather than advance. Gallagher looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Gallagher is breathing heavily. Anderson throwing shots but Gallagher is blocking nicely. Anderson wants to work for an arm triangle but Gallagher is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Anderson seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Anderson thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Gallagher's head. Gallagher keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Anderson throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Anderson throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Gallagher to regain full guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Anderson accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Gallagher keeping moving, preventing Anderson from controlling successfully. Gallagher utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Cliff Anderson dominated that round. That's time! Gallagher's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Will he be able to recover?!! Gallagher wants to control but Anderson is having none of it. Anderson scoring with strikes but Gallagher is staying in there. Anderson content just to control the position here. Anderson lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Anderson unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Gallagher wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Anderson celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!
